Thank you for your interest in RVA Outreach.  RVA Outreach sends individuals into our local community to meet practical needs, embrace the forgotten, and identify and engage in discipleship opportunities.

On Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 7pm, we will have an Outreach Informational Session to share vision and vision-cast for the 2026 year. Please join us!

Our current ongoing Outreach activities include:

• RVA Feeds.  This Outreach provides monthly meal distribution to our neighbors at the Salvation Army, each 3rd Saturday at 11:30am.
• Carving & Cultivating: A New Teacher Collective.  This Outreach seeks to better support the emotional, instructional, and logistical needs of new teachers in our city—especially those who may be teaching in a new cultural context or entering from a different profession or country. Our current school is G.W. Carver Elementary, but the outreach is open to any new teacher in our region. 
• Literacy Nights. This Outreach seeks to promote family literacy in our most needy populations. More to come soon!  

RVA Outreach also participates in activities that occur sporadically or as one time events that are led by either DUCC or other community organizations.
